Lenovo laptops – When you use the Safe mode troubleshooting option for Windows, the computer starts in a limited state. Only the necessary basic files and drivers will start to run Windows. Lenovo Support would like to inform you that if you encounter any problem in programs or drivers, it can be fixed using the safe mode feature. If Windows 7 is installed on your system, use the following steps:

    • Use the combination of Windows + R keys on your system.
    • Enter “MSConfig” in the dialog box.
    • Click on the Boot tab.
    • Now click on the option of Safe Boot and hit the Apply button.

    • Select the Safe Mode option using the arrow keys.
    • Hit the Enter key on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode.
    • Do whatever steps need to be taken, and when you are finished with all the important steps, reboot to set into normal mode.

Use the following steps, if you are a Windows 8 user:

    • To open settings use the Windows logo key + I or Select the start button in the lower-left corner of the screen to go to settings.
